Why this exists

Dating profile photography is a real niche with real specialists — and a lot of noise. Prices range from £127 to $3,600+, half the industry hides its pricing behind sales calls, and most “review” sites in this space invent star ratings to look credible. We wanted the page we couldn't find: every serious option, verified facts, honest tradeoffs, one place.

How we compare

• Everything is verified against the live site.Prices, packages and coverage come from each service's own published pages, re-checked periodically. Last full verification pass: June 2026.
• No invented numbers.We don't publish star ratings or review counts because we don't have first-party review data. When a price comes from a third-party report rather than the company, we label it as exactly that.
• Hidden pricing is called out.If a service only quotes on a sales call, the card says “Price on request” — we won't guess on their behalf.
• Picks are editorial.“Best overall”, “Best value”, “Best AI” and “Budget pick” are our judgment calls based on what's included, published pricing and track record — not on who pays us.

How we make money — full disclosure

Two ways, both labeled directly on the cards:

• Partner links. Cards marked “Partner” may earn us a commission if you book. It never changes what you pay, and several services in the comparison are listed with no relationship at all.
• We built GetDates.ai.The AI service in this comparison is our own product, marked “Built by us” wherever it appears. We think it's genuinely the right answer for some people (cheap, instant, works anywhere) and the wrong answer for others — the card lists both sides, like every other card.
